Alexandra Sterling, RDH
Alexandra Sterling, RDH, was born in California but moved to Colorado at a young age to pursue figure skating. In 2005, her uncle, who is a dentist in Laguna Beach, CA, inspired her to pursue dentistry. She received her associates for dental assisting in 2006 and started working for offices in Boulder, Colorado. She quickly learned about dental restorations and diagnostic tools to provide patients with care and comfort. Alexandra has been a dental assistant, dental hygiene assistant, orthodontic technician, dental practice marketing ambassador, and treatment coordinator for the duration of her career. Throughout her dental assisting experience she attended college in the evenings to finish her Bachelor’s degree in science.
Alexandra was inspired to become a dental hygienist while teaching orthodontic patients about keeping their mouths healthy when wearing dental appliances. In 2013, she was accepted into the dental hygiene program and Concorde Career College where she graduated and passed the Colorado dental hygiene board exams. She currently provides care and oral hygiene advocacy in Denver and Littleton, CO. Alexandra has a passion for community outreach, oral health education, and providing quality dental care to her patients. Keeping her patients comfortable, educated, and at ease is her mission.
